BTW, I’m Archaeopteryx, sometimes referred to by its German name Urvogel, is a 
genus of bird-like dinosaurs that is transitional between non-avian feathered dinosaurs and modern birds. Similarly to the Archaeopteryx, you are a person who finds themselves in a transitioning stage of your life. Either because you are discovering new things or you are yourself an in between point for what the world was and what it is going to be. Either way, change, whether good or bad is inevitable. So open your wings and let the wind take you.

Apatosaurus is one of the most famous of the giant Jurassic plant-eaters. It was a huge, long-necked dinosaur, longer than two school buses and weighing as much as 7-13 elephants! If you look at older dinosaur books, you might not find Apatosaurus, but you will see “Brontosaurus”. This was the name that was used for this dinosaur when the wrong head was mistakenly put on its body. For years, an Apatosaurus body stood with the head of Camarasaurus on the end of its neck. This was named Brontosaurus and was one of the most popular dinosaurs for many years. Recently, Brontosaurus has received it’s own genus instead of being an alternative name for the Apatosaurus. You and Apatosaurus are similar in this regard. Often in your life you’ve been mistaken or generalized as one individual when you were actually another. Now that the barrier is down, its time to show the world you’re true self!

Once in a while I get a request to give a short lecture at the State’s Police Academy. It’s an odd request because people of my vintage are referred to by serving Police as ‘Dinosaurs’.
Perhaps to the students I do look a bit like the beast in your photo.

I don’t think so, Percy. I can’t think of you as a dinosaur. I find fascination in prehistoric animals and their existence millions of years ago though.
