Deep and wide,
The body they engulf.
How can I fight them,
When they are ghastly at bay.
Fragility in health,
Mounting pressures,
Adding to stress.
Can none other be the
Bearer of bad news.
I see a glimmer of hope,
A shimmering light,
To a grim tale’s delight,
As I seek wisdom,
Peace and comfort.
My inner will is losing sight,
It takes all strength within me,
To overcome and persevere.
I feel I am losing ground,
For mortal laws have prevailed.
Have I quicken my death,
Or am I just delaying.
Is this a fool’s woes,
A sinister respect of mortality,
Or a mere mention therein.
Beautifully written, thanks 🙂

I hope that you’re doing better, Anne. I sense from your powerful entry today that there are still incredible struggles that you face. A virtual hug sent your way in an effort to make you smile….

Thanks Rob. I actually felt well enough to go to physical therapy yesterday. It’s been a while (3 months). There are some more health issues but I won’t update until next week. Having a high degree of anxiety right now.

You are one powerful user of word power Anne. I know how hard it is to ride above physical pain and mental anguish. However, tomorrow dawns a brighter day and all our positive thoughts for you will give you that much needed lift and reinforce your will to carry on, regardless.

Thank you for the encouragement. It is just the way I’m feeling right now. Down under and feeling anxiety.
