The new novel, “ The Jagged Edge” (published by AuthorHouse) by Anne R. Murray, “holds up a mirror to life,” says Robert Rakestraw, columnist for the Rome (Georgia) News-Tribune and author of “In Search of Primal Knowledge” and “Robert’s Scribblings.”

Set in metropolitan Richmond, Virginia, “The Jagged Edge” follows the circumstances of Angela Harris’ life after she suffers the loss of her mother at a young age. As a young woman, Angela copes with her mother’s death in an extraordinary way.

“Readers will be able to visually see themselves in the characters’ roles,” Murray says. “They can see themselves in similar circumstances or life-changing events.”

Murray hopes to encourage readers with her inspirational story. She urges them to keep in mind that there is always hope, no matter the circumstances of life. A spiritual enlightening story of loss and tragedy, “The Jagged Edge” is a renewal of soul and healing of the heart.

“You don’t have to like the past,” Murray says, “but accepting it is the key to healing.”
