It’s time I surrender to my Lord, My body, life and soul. There’s just no other way around it, I am tired of fighting this deadly, Dreaded disease. It invades my whole body, And tears at my limbs. It kills my spirit deep within. I call on His name up above, Jesus Christ, The One and Only, And all that He bestows, Please lift me up in prayer today.
I Surrender All

Hi Anne — What you wrote here, I’ve been feeling for months. I’m just so tired and fed up with my health situation, I could scream, but I’m afraid if I started screaming, I’d never stop! Pray for me?

Thank you, Carl. It is unimaginable. It takes all your energy and strength. You are right that it came from my heart and genuine. Thanks for the prayers and replying. 🙂 Anne

Though I understand prayer, it isn’t something I do – I’m all the more moved by yours, to which I add whatever strength and determination my thoughts may bring. I hope that you will indeed be lifted up to carry on unbowed.

I understand. I’ve been on a higher dosage of chemo this week and just finished today for this month. It’s been a long journey and I am at peace now with my illness. I realize that sometimes you have to admit you’re not ‘infallible’ to God. I’m not giving up, just moved to a better place spiritually and emotionally. Thanks for the response. 🙂

I’m not a religious man however I respect and sometimes envy those who find strength in a higher being. I admire your forthrightness about your current situation that you are bravely facing. If my thoughts can give you more strength to carry on and overcome this adversity, then I willingly give you my all. Hoo roo and good luck.

Thank you and yes, your words do help. Been a couple of pretty rough days with infusions. You don’t want to know. But I’ll send hoo roo back and best wishes. It does lift my spirits to keep communication open. 🙂

Had open heart in 2006. 43 prostate cancer radiations this time last year. Then just being 65 has its downers. Seems we’re both still here. I recommend mega doses of pizza and chocolate ice cream. Thanks visit my blog.
